RailtempMate continuously records track temperatures from -55°C to +125oC and can be remotely programmed to send limit alerts to any number of recipients by SMS or email.
Default alert settings on a RailtempMATE are set to 30°C for an amber alert and 40°C for red, these can be changed to custom levels.
Once installed, they are given a default location name of <serial number + nearest town name>, which again can be customised.
To change either of these settings just let the Customer Support team know, either by submitting a ticket on here or calling 0161 765 3447, please have the serial number of your device to hand.
RailtempMate also have automated battery alerts. These are set to 11.5volts for amber alert and 10.5volts for red alert. Once you receive either of these alerts the device needs to be taken off track and given a full charge.
